Refund policy

1. Return Window

You have 7 (seven) days from the date of delivery to notify us of your intent to return an item for a refund or exchange. Once notified, the item must be dispatched back to us within a further 7 days.

2. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:

  • The item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

  • It must be in the original packaging, including all tags, labels, and protective seals intact.

  • You must provide a valid proof of purchase or order number.

3. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, certain types of goods cannot be returned, such as:

  • Personal care items or intimate apparel.

  • Perishable goods.

  • Gift cards and downloadable software products.

  • Items specifically marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable" at the time of purchase.

4. The Return Process

Please note: Unless the item is defective or incorrect, the customer is responsible for the shipping costs associated with returning the item.

5. Refunds and Processing

Once your return is received and inspected (typically within 3–5 business days):

  • Approval: We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Credit Card: If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.

  • EFT/Manual Payments: For orders paid via EFT, we will require your banking details to process the reversal.

6. Damaged or Defective Items

In the unlikely event that you receive a damaged or defective product, Baobab will take full responsibility. We will arrange for a collection and provide a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you.
